On August 21, 2009, he announced that he will be running in the 2010 election.

Ferdinand Emmanuel "Bong-Bong" Romualdez Marcos, Jr Only son of Ferdinand E. Marcos, the former president of the Philippines (1965-1986), and former First Lady Imelda Romualdez-Marcos. He is currently the representative and former governor of Ilocos Norte. He is married to Louise Araneta Marcos and resides at Batac, Ilocos Norte.

From 1998 to 2007 he was a member of the House of Representatives, representing the First District of Tarlac province. In March 2009 he announced his intention to run for President of the Philippines in the May 2010 elections.

Manuel "Manny" Bamba Villar, Jr. Filipino businessman and politician. He is the President of the Nacionalista Party and a member of the Senate of the Philippines. Villar was Speaker of the House of Representatives from 1998 to 2000—in which capacity he presided over the impeachment of President Joseph Estrada—as well as President of the Senate from 2006 to 2008.
